Nutmeg

Nutmeg is the mature dried seeds of the tree Myristica fragrans (family name - Myristicacea). Nutmeg having a characteristic aromatic odour and taste.

  • Unshelled nutmeg – FAQ grade
  • Shelled nutmeg – FAQ grade
  • BWP

Nutmeg is packed in 50 kgs gunny bags.

Mace

The mature dried aril of Myristica fragrans Houtt in pieces, irregular in shape and size. Mace having a characteristic aromatic odor and taste.

Packed in 10 kgs / 25 kgs cartons with an inner polythene bag liner.

Quality standards

ISO 22000-2005

  • We were awarded pure Ceylon Lion logo by export development board in 2014, which can be only used for packages containing 100% pure Ceylon cinnamon.
  • Devi Trading Company recognizes its responsibility as a provider of quality spices. Our food safety management system complies with international standard ISO 22000-2005 and Sri Lanka Standards Institution specifications.
  • In 2009 we received accreditation from SGS ISO 22000 and HACCP for the export of spices .
  • We have an in-house lab to test all incoming and outgoing export cargo to ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
  • Experienced international surveyors inspect all our shipments. Our shipments are effected on world class shipping lines with careful consideration of transit time.
  • We also consider the buyer’s packing requirements other than the packing specifications stated here.
